Is it your position that those multitude of bible translators mistranslated that passage? You gonna call THEM blasphemers? Yeah, I thought you would, because you’re more like the Church Lady Pharisee than someone trying to further the Kingdom of Christ.

Jesus was pretty vigorously energetic when confronting false teachers of His day and so am I.

Or are you gonna accuse Christ of being unChristlike while He was overturning tables....hmmmmmmm?

When given specific scripture, if you don't agree with it, you deny it's validity. The shame is on you. As I said, we are DONE.

The same EXACT principle applies to you, pharisee.

Put up a mirror.

The obvious differences that lurkers will note is that you are relying on classical fallacies in your reasoning process.

Learn to write a sentence without using fallacious reasoning. Take a critical thinking class.

You accuse a guy who simply disagrees with you about a docterinal matter as being hateful.

That’s kind of over-the-top phariseeism thinking, right there. And of course, alongside it you constantly engage straw arguments and classical fallacies. The two seem to go hand in hand.

I know what your problem is: Judgementalism.

Pretty sad to see her further turning from where she once was. When I was a new Christian I wasn't familiar with christian music as I had never heard it before. The hardest thing I did at that time was shun all "secular" music even though I am a musician and that's all I had ever had known. I came to embrace the CCM (contemporary Christian music) during that time (mid to late 90s) and Amy Grant was one of the bigger names at the time. I recall the "Baby Baby" songs from the Heart in Motion (1991) album as a new Christian and my thinking it wasn't very biblical. I also remember hearing songs from that album on regular pop or top 40 secular stations back in the early 90s before I knew who she was or that she was even a Christian.

One song from a later album I remember that seemed powerful to me was Breath of Heaven. I still can't fathom the woman that sang that song can be so far from that now. Listen for yourself.

Amy Grant - Breath of Heaven

I hope and pray she finds her way back on the right path. I actually looked at her in my early years as a Christian, as the type of woman I wanted God to bring into my life.

Yeah, their money is just as green...but “it’s all still gonna burn”. She should remember that.

Indeed. Whether it be a strong Christian filled with wisdom, conviction and love, or an awakening circumstance, or God’s still small voice - I’ll leave that to God’s wisdom - I can just pray for intercession.

I always pray that I learn in humility, rather than ultimate consequence.

Matthew 21:44 (NIV): “Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”

I’m judging her words and motivation which is wrong. If it’s not her heart I don’t know but if it isn’t she is a hypocrite then which The Lord really railed against. Don’t let her stardom and music cloud your judgment nor allow the evil she is speaking slide.

Really? Have you read the lyrics of “The Last Resort”? Great disdain for Christianity.

Loving everyone is calling Jesus a liar? Are Gays God’s creation that have been led astray? We should destroy them? Could you post the scripture reference for that one?

Actually, we are admonished to “turn away” from such as these. (2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-5‬)

It is astounding how ignorant and biblically illiterate you seem to be. Do you realize that Jesus taught his disciples to CURSE entire towns which wouldn’t receive their message? Jesus was a frequent and caustic name caller. He referred to a woman beseeching his help a “dog.” He called his disciples evil as a matter of course, and even called one of his closest apostles “Satan.” He apologized to no one for his hard teaching, letting the rich young ruler walk away of his own accord into damnation. He openly exposed the sexual sin of the Samaritan woman at the well unapologetically, and it was only because of her openness to his indictment that she found salvation.

You have a modern, false notion of love. It was perfect Love which drove the merchandisers with a raging whip from the Temple in holy zeal. You think it is permissive passivity.

You ask ‘who is subject to being turned over to a reprobate mind?’
It may be individuals, but in the context I believe it is pointing to a people. Last March John MacArthur stated that he believed that God has turned His back on America. That may very well be true.
With man many things are impossible, but with God nothing is impossible. God can shake and allow this country to be disciplined to where people realize that only God is good, holy, and just. Christ has taken the punishment for our sins on Himself at the cross. All who call on the Name of the Lord will be saved. This shaking is for the purpose that ‘that which cannot be shaken will remain.’
God have mercy and draw men to Yourself.
