My first experience with the horror of Castro was when I moved to OC California when in 9th grade. I met two girls my age at school and walked home with them. Met their Moms. A family of Cuban women who had lost the Men in their family to the brutal Castro regime. They managed to escape with girl children and one toddler boy. Despite this they held onto hope their dads, uncles, sons and brothers were somehow still alive. I was 13 years old, their stories were shocking to me.
Get ready southern Florida. Here they come. By the boat load.
News Flash from CNN and MSNBC - Protests in Cuba largely violent. However, thousands of “support the secret police” counter-protestors peacefully flood the streets of Havana in favor of more funding for the DGI and its street goons. Agitators claiming to want “more freedom” in Cuba ignored by the masses”.
“More communist propaganda at 11” /Sarc - NOT
Cubans, doing the jobs Americans won’t do
Imagine a world where Americans in an attempt to escape Socialist Tyranny will have to take their chances by sailing the open sea in home made rafts trying to get to Cuba.
Same stuff in my country. Real airheads, the whole lot of them. :-(
I think this utterly disproves the notion that leftists are rational beings.
Genocidal tyrants get to call the shots at the UN.
Who can foirget the genocide of Che Guevera and Fidel Castro?
They should invite Ceausescu back from the dead.
The Left’s only option will be a media blackout.

Nary a mention this morning on cable.
Tiananmen, not Tien An Mein
The problem here is:
The government has guns and IS willing to use them;
We have guns but are NOT willing to use them
perfect recipe for the rise of a dictatorship.
Don’t worry. The CIA is down there arming the government right now.
Who knows what’s in store for Cuba and the United States? Perhaps a year from now we will be fleeing the U.S. in rubber rafts for the freedom of a New Cuba. ;-)
“It’s not the glamorous Che Guevara shirt wearing hugs and kisses. It’s desperate people at the breaking point, 60 years of misery.”
I have had this dream about super gluing the Che Shirts on these bastards and dropping them off in the Bay of Pigs.
Then, let them swim through the sharks to meet the good Cubans.
Stupid State Department claims the protests are over COVID.
“Viva Trump! Viva Trump!”
The mask mandates are starting to backfire.
The Covid masks are helping to give the protestors more backbone, just as the masks encouraged protests, looting, vandalism, & shoplifting in the US.
You are correct. Most of the Cuban protesters were wearing masks.
The mask mandates are starting to backfire.
The Covid masks are helping to give the protestors more backbone, just as the masks encouraged protests, looting, vandalism, & shoplifting in the US.
Suppose the Cubans succeed in ousting the Communists & attempt to form a democratic government. How many Cuban Americans would return to Cuba? How many would attempt to influence the process, for good or bad?
There is a lot of rich Cuban American’s who could get richer & help the country quickly recover from Castro. Cuba could once again become a very popular tourist destination, being the largest island in the Caribbean. The potential opportunities are huge in every sector of the economy.
What you’re talking about is a reverse 2nd Amendment. The people boast of the 2nd A but never had the intention of using it. That is the reason there is no 2nd A anywhere else in the world. No need for one. The average human wants a job more than he wants a gun.

No I’m talking about WILL, not intent. And no its not the reason. you just think its the reason.
