I think the Liberals painted themselves into a corner with this whole thing.
As it is, Joe is turning out to be WAAAAAY less functional than they counted on (and WAAAY sooner than expected), and he's twice as much of a liability than they thought possible.
Add to that, they covered themselves with s*&t and their credibility (such as it ever WAS) is totally gone.
So, even though their bench is DEEP, “Mr. and Mrs. Voter” are daily and almost hourly, diddled out of anything remotely like a political victory! How's that gonna play in 2024?

He will survive his recall, the media will proclaim him “The Comeback Kid”, and he will be the one in 2024. The women will swoon over him.
That's what I think is happening, and maybe even before that. With the Senate at 50/50 they lose the tie-breaker if they move Harris to the presidency, since that Senate won't approve a replacement that is a Dem to break ties for them afterward. With that deadlock in mind the Dems are stuck with not one, but both of those incredibly dysfunctional people and can only watch a butt-kicking coming in 2022.
Indulge me in a wild conspiracy theory. If they're certain they'll lose the House there's always the option of finding a pretext to remove them both. Nanzi Pelosi, who would be losing her Speaker role anyway when the House goes, moves to the presidency and they hang on for 2024 with a veto pen and a two-year-long intense media propaganda campaign. I highly doubt they could pull it off but then I didn't think they'd be able to steal an election, either.
I think Biden will outlive her but it doesn’t matter because there won’t be an America for Kamala to rule.

You correctly claim that Trump got more votes for any sitting president, but it’s disingenuous to omit that he also got the highest vote to reject a sitting president - even if you assume that 20 million of Biden’s 81 million recorded votes were fraudulent!
Prelude to ousting her...ousting biden...but not before he appoints hillary as v.p...then hillary is “ president.”..any wierder than other democratic party machinations?.
Even Biden can defeat Trump if they flip about 20-30 million Trump votes and give them to Biden.
Don’t get all hung up on Kamala’s 1%. Democrats will get behind whomever the party deems as the best chance to preserve power.
If she’s the incumbent and perhaps even if Biden finishes his term but foregoes re-election, you’ll see them rally around her as if she were Karl Marx’s wife. I wouldn’t rule out a primary challenge from AOC in the latter scenario, but it probably wouldn’t happen.
Bottom line is I think they’re undecided because they need to see about Biden’s approval rating and whether he’s still even alive by then. If he deteriorates slowly enough that the media can shield him through another election, they will do that to hold the WH.

Speaking of Biden’s approval ratings, I haven’t seen any reports of his job approval in the news recently. Could it be that there is not good news to report, good news from the liberal/media point of view, so they just ignore those polls?
