If I can claim to change my gender, why not my race? Who is anyone to tell me how I identify?

Can I not claim to be a different age? Who is anyone to tell me I'm 10 years old and am not allowed drive a car to go purchase alcohol and cigarettes.

Why not claim I identify as a citizen of any country I wish? Who is anyone to question that?

Can I not claim to be a different species? On Mondays I wish to be a sloth.

Can I not claim to be Emperor and demand everyone bow to me?
