Brave on pc or mobile? Mines on mobile and i have ad blocking ON. When i checked the stats of the original site the video was linked to there were 8 items that were blocked. Both sites seemed sketchy and i find a lot of Freepers post from sites with paywalls or tons of Ads like daily mail.

I use Brave on IOS mobile. It blocks lots of ads, most pop ups and some videos. Some news sites have an annoying pop up video that's about the only pop up that I see. I don't have anything against ads as such, that's capitalism working. I hate trackers and other intrusive malware with a passion.

I tried out the DuckDuckGo browser before Brave. I liked it better than Brave in how it gave you a detail list of bad things it blocked and may have been a bit faster. Brave gives a total blocked but no detail. The Duck had a lousy way of handling bookmarks and that was a deal killer for me.
