I thought I read a headline a while back that said red cross was not accepting blood from those who had been vaccinated. Take it with a grain of salt as I only saw the headline in passing. Maybe someone else here will remember better than I. Anyway that might explain a shortage if there is one.
The American Red Cross’ current policy is to only accept convalescent plasma donations from people who have recovered from COVID-19 and have not had the vaccine.
Looks like what I remember was only for convalescent plasma
100% wrong. Vaccinated people can donate.
