Interestingly, none of the FR “bitter enders” barnstormed the state of Alabama on election eve in support of progressive Democrat Doug Jones. Sadly, the same can’t be said of the octogenarian senior GOP Senator from AL. And of course Jones won and Obamacare repeal failed by one vote.

I was not a fan of his anyway. I don’t have anything against him. I just don’t have anything for him. A 14 year boy did a man’s work in the fields. A 14 year old girl did a woman’s work in the house. They did not have their diaper changed every 2 hours until they get to be 30 years old.
You could disagree with the premise of his electability or the quality of his character, but the marriage must have been approved by the parents and/or a judges. Thus no felony was recognized, no statutory rape occurred, etc. And she wasn’t a dead 14yo when he married her, so no necrophilia either.
