Early on, was reasonable to assume Covid was going to be much worse than it turned out. Getting red tape out of the way of vaccine development and allowed* release was important to ensure preparedness should it be as bad as anticipated. What Trump did was good; whether it was necessary in retrospect is largely irrelevant, so long as the preparation was done. Insofar as many want a vaccine, and Trump's leadership made it available in a timely manner, that's great. That many want to force others to take the vaccine is the problem at issue in this thread. Free country, my body, etc. Most here aren't "acting like this is akin to genocide"; that's the straw man narrative you want to impute on others who disagree, just so you can insult them. It's not the getting vaccinated that's the problem, it's the "tell us your private medical decision so we can decide whether to fire you" that's the problem.
