Yay!!!
Hamsters are back at work
No get your network secure,morons
3 days to fill the pipeline to its furthest reaches.
Another day to get all the gas trucks full.
Another 2-3 days to fill all the gas station tanks up.
Does anyone know if Colonial installed backup equipment or paid off Putin’s Rooskie Ransomware hackers?
This was a test.
Ransom paid ?
Did they pay the ransom?
Here’s my question:
WHY does ONE COMPANY control 45% of the gasoline to greater than 1/3 of the country? Gas a vital resource that we cannot function without.
How can a company like that not have an IT Hot Site. What if their data center gets hit by a tornado or a fire?
Our company has a Hot Site we can have up and running in hours. We can fall back to 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 6 months ago. That is SOP for most companies.
Then I am going to eat it.
Get updates, as GP obviously has, from here:

There was a comment made earlier on this site that the pipeline fills reservoir tank farms, which means that there would be a sizable supply even when there is no pumping. Anyone know if this true and if it is why is there a shortage as soon as the pumping stopped?
And now Whitless is using this as a reason to shut down a michigan oil pipeline shes been wanting to for years.
If you read their press release, they “initiated the restart of pipeline operations.”
Also, “Following this restart, it will take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal.”
Let’s see, several days is more than a couple, so at least three and as many as infinity, I guess.
And they initiated the restart, but have not completed the restart. Who knows when the restart will be finished and the “several days” counter will begin.
One more thing: “We would also like to thank the White House for their leadership and collaboration . . .”

Another crisis in the rear view mirror. 😉
