Not satire.. not satire in the least bit. It is called the workforce Justice act. It gives grant money to States and local jurisdictions, to not permit businesses to do criminal background checks on criminals.

I’m just thinking of all the wonderful opportunities for criminals, like in our public schools, or in daycares, or Banks..... Where rapists, child molesters, murderers, thieves, Bank robbers, terrorists, and other ne’er do wells can now be employed.

The government can't have it both ways and could no longer ask if THEIR employees or contractors have ever been banned from government contracts for malfeasance or outright crimes.

Yeah, I didn't think so. The government lawyers would have to deal with:
-bus drivers who've lost their licenses for DUIs
-counselors who've sexually assaulted others
-cops who've been fired from other jurisdictions for police "brutality"

Let these government officials hire criminals to be their personal bodyguards, drivers, and staff.

Hey John, is Satire of Satire not Satire?

Kind if like a double negative?

To do a background check, the employer would need ID. Wait, are they allowed to demand ID?

We always had a few workers with ankle bracelets on. Usually drug/alcohol related offenses. Some made it, some did not.

Maxi said,
"criminals have just as much right to a job as anyone else. Yet, if potential employers are allowed to poke around for evidence of crimes that may have been committed by applicants they are apt not to hire them. This is part of the systemic racism we are trying to eliminate in this country."
So all criminals are black? Or is Maxi admitting that blacks disproportionately commit crimes?
