Ma’Khia was a child who deserved protection. Rather than scrutinizing her behavior, we need to understand the systems that failed her and factored strongly in her death.
So we aren’t supposed to ask, why in the sam hill did she grab a knife and almost kill someone? Instead they want to have a debate about the foster care system?????
And, they want you to condemn the police officer, who was pretty much obligated to kill her... because he didn’t take the time to figure out she should have been “protected”.
She wasn’t just holding the knife,she was attempting to use it.🙄
