The English language has been dying as long ago as when I graduated MSU in 1970. I had a friend who got a teaching degree. She routinely said, “has went”.
Increasingly, I read and listen to those who have a very illiterate grasp of just the simple structure of English. I am embarrassed for them. Most are college “educated”.
>>I had a friend who got a teaching degree. She routinely said, “has went”.<<
Did she insist to be addressed with the title of “Doctor”?
