Love is love. Black Lives Matter. We believe in science. Etc etc. People like to virtue signal.

Put it next to “The Germans are the Master Race”
When I see these colorful yard signs they seem that the people are claiming they love everyone, but they hate you.
Virtue signaling is cheap

Now the woke occupy the smug self righteous perch of superiority
It’s the same motivation
To feel accepted and to be morally superior
It happens even here...
Remember the old harpie packs that roamed the forum screaming for zots over criticizing Bush or Sarah Palin or being a bigot or racist or anti semite or any smear imaginable or if you were anti Bush amnesty....yes it is true kids
The main target were paleos like me and Matt bracken and Marine Inspector or Jackelope Breeder or objectivists and libertarians like OWK or tpaine or mercuria ....and so forth
It was a much bigger tent here then...but what I noticed was otherwise good posters would go wobbly and join the herd simply from fear or wanting to be accepted
