The ivy league schools, in their haste to show their progressiveness, let in POC (,but not Asians or at least Oriental Asians) who are not ready for the studies or the culture. Too many drop out and never finish. Most of these POC would fit in better a a local state college, finish with a degree, and, assuming their degree is a a decent one, prosper and add to the community.
Although condescending, the liberal class consider this hybrid political and philosophical comportment as an act of charity and equally a moral obligation.
And the fact we profit from it is just a perk.
