That was a justified shooting, taking the life of a perpetrator to save the life of another, or prevent grievous bodily harm.
The girl with the knife went off when the police arrived, She had to know the police were there. IMHO the knife girl knew that the police would stop the fracas and she saw that she only had a few seconds to do her stabbing, took the chance and died for it.
The officer does not deserve the treatment he has received from BLM and others.
That was some very fast thinking and accurate shooting.I suppose he could have stopped after a single shot,m but that’s not the way police are trained in using their side arm.
I commend the officer. He deserves a medal on this one and a profound thanks from the teen who was saved and her family.
