How do you know when you’re looking at the code that was running in a given machine.
Guess you could take a program’s worth of source code, compile and link it, and see if the executable equals what was running.
But how do you know that the software currently in a given machine is what was running at the time?
Dominion has probably spent a lot of time obscuring their source code.
Our company once bought some source code, but guess what? The seller removed all of the comments.
