The anger I feel at the people fostering this BS makes it sound like I am indifferent to the deaths of the criminals.
I’m not. But being pushed to treat these people harmed by police as if they are completely innocent parties to their own deaths makes me push back against the Leftists who encouraging this beatification of vile criminals as a way of enacting social change in the manner of Saul Alinsky. They are the ones keeping people in modern day slavery in pestitential slums with little chance of escape, all for a vote at election time encouraged by vile race baiters who claim to speak for the community.
I know that there are innocent people who are killed by police (who have done nothing at all) and I am all for getting to the bottom of that and finding out the hows and whys in an effort to lessen the likelihood of it happening again. But those are exceedingly rare situations.
A police officer is EIGHTEEN TIMES more likely to be killed by a young, black male than a black person of any kind is to die at the hands of a police officer. (Heather MacDonald, WSJ)
But I’ll be damned if I am going to shed a tear on behalf of someone who is engaging in criminal behavior, resisting arrest or fleeing police at the expense of a police officer trying to do a job.
God, this all makes me so angry.
Very well said and I am in 100% agreement.
