After being unexpectedly let go by Fox News, anchor Lou Dobbs has responded to the news of his firing from the network.
Dobbs took to Twitter and shared an ominous message that appears to suggest he has moved on and may have other plans in the future.
Here’s what Lou said: "Ready to turn the page—and start a new chapter #Dobbs."

“...unexpectedly let go by Fox News.”
One word...Disney.

He was an acquired taste.
They certainly are trying!
Put him on the radio from Noon to 3:00 Eastern Time.
“Any details as to why he was let go?”
I can’t recall, but think it had something to do with his blatant pro-Trump stance.
I really liked him, but he needs to know that it’s OK for him to retire.
Maybe he’ll go to Real America’s Voice, which has some excellent programming. It’s not TV, though, as far as I know, except on Dish.
I’m Mad as Hell and Wont Take it anymore!
Really.
Newsmax can hire him, not sure they can afford the salary he makes at Fox though.
Disney bought Fox Entertainment properties, not FOX, FNC or FBN.
“Disney bought Fox Entertainment properties, not FOX, FNC or FBN.”
In a perfect world, you’d probably be right. But I don’t know where that world is. Disney spent $71B and within that acquired former Fox television networks such as FX Networks and National Geographic Partners. Disney will also get Fox’s 30 percent ownership of Hulu, giving Disney a controlling share of 60 percent.
To say that Disney is not putting weight on the new Fox to lean in a particular direction is just as much a guess as anyone’s. Disney has been a political tool for a number of years by the left so I feel it is within their agenda to do so. And actions since the intervention of Eisner have been telling. I think they’ve been meddling. And their financial influence has been a tool for them to do so.
