So, is she yelling, “Taser!” to the suspect?
“I will shoot!” seems more of a deterrent, whether a handgun or taser is used.
Officers are trained to yell taser so their fellow officers know they are not using a firearm.
It’s standard practice for a law enforcement officer to shout “taser taser taser” before deploying the weapon for two reason. One so any other officer in contact with the subject immediately removes that contact lest they get shocked as well and two so any other officer knows non lethal force is being used so they don’t see their partner drawing down on the perp and draw their service weapon thinking lethal force has been warranted. Every law enforcement agency in the country uses the practice of “taser taser taser”
