The 2021 Ford F-150 features a starting MSRP of just under $30,000 or $28,940. Out of these figures, the manufacturer of America’s best-selling truck, probably profits around $13,000, or almost half of the new asking price. Ford’s high-end F-150 models also bring in the bacon, ranking as the number one selling vehicle in it’s-Class over $50,000. With 800,000 F-150’s sold in one year alone, Ford is able to scale profit mountains that total over 10 billion dollars. Currently the Ford lineup includes the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinium, Limited and Raptor, and although their trim and MSRP levels can vary greatly from one another, industry pundits assume the auto giant is averaging at least $10,000 per vehicle in pure profit.
