Kamala has always been useless, and this is just another exhibit of evidence to support that fact.
Manchin is manuevering doing his “acceptability dance” to appeal to coservatives yet keep his Rat bona fides. Goals is to be a possible contender for a VP should a Kamala adminstratio happen or make him a 2024 contender.
I think its a “pipe dream” but its his dream !

He wants to run for President. He thinks he can only do that as a Rat. He views himself as the next Bill Clinton the moderate who can appeal to both sides of the voting aisle. I have it on good authority from people here in WV that know him that this is his thinking.

Kamala has spent much of her career in managerial positions, where she could easily delegate duties requiring tedious legwork, glad handing and number crunching. She is not used to having to answer to a “Boss” on a schedule not of her making. She is resisting the expectations of her subordinate position.
