So Axios needs to be punished for using the term “surge” to describe the virus spread.

My point exactly. They've been jabbing people with the vaccine since late December. 328 million people in the USA. Almost half jabbed, starting with the oldest.
Our illustrious leaders are planning a "Vaccine Passport", so obviously they know the disease hasn't been conquered yet. They are willing to spend our money for this "passport" so they expect the disease to be here for a long time.
First it was "Two weeks to flatten the curve." Then "Let us jab you and we'll conquer the disease". None of it was true.
Our illustrious leaders have failed because there is no way to prevent the disease. The cynical me says that they know that, but see the pandemic as a way to clamp the leg irons firmly around a weakened, compliant, scared population.

Someone once said, to find the truth, just follow the money. Okay, here are some simple tid-bits with cited references that can make anyone wonder if the Wuhan Flu is real or just a $$$ scam. The March 29, 2021 Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) at this link: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7013e3.htm “Interim Estimates of Vaccine Effectiveness of BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273 COVID-19 Vaccines in Preventing SARS-CoV-2 Infection Among Health Care Personnel, First Responders, and Other Essential and Frontline Workers — Eight U.S. Locations, December 2020–March 2021” specifically says: “Messenger RNA (mRNA) COVID-19 vaccines have been shown to be effective in preventing symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection in randomized placebo-controlled Phase III trials.” Notice the word PREVENTING. A bit deeper in the article, again CDC says: “These findings indicate that authorized mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are effective for preventing SARS-CoV-2 infection, regardless of symptom status, among working-age adults in real-world conditions.” Again, notice PREVENTING. Nothing says the vaccine minimizes symptoms, it says PREVENTS INFECTION! Big difference.
So, just 2 days ago CDC says that people that were fully vaccinated were 90% less likely to get infected. To me, that sounds like a 90% effective rate. If that is true, then these particular Covid scientists must be mega brained geniuses.
I believe the Wuhan flu is a virus similar to the seasonal flus that originate in China, I made a comparison to effectiveness of annual flu vaccine to Covid vaccine. Maybe Apples and Bananas, but Covid is brand new, so took my best guess. The CDC at this link https://www.cdc.gov/flu/vaccines-work/effectiveness-studies.htm posts the Effectiveness of Seasonal Flu Vaccines from the 2009-2020 Flu Seasons in a chart. Please download the Excel file to see the complete data from 2004 – 2020. This is 16 YEARS of data.
Monkey Math, so performing a simple average calculation, over the past 16 years, seasonal flu vaccines have “averaged” 39.875% effective at preventing flu. Full disclosure, four of those years, effectivity have been over 50%. On the surface, with an average effectiveness rate of about 40%, I would say the Scientists and Drs working on these vaccines at Big Pharma SUCKED at their jobs every year for the past 16 years!!! Explain to me how, this collection of geniuses, suddenly, overnight, produce a vaccine with a 90% effective rate without a single live sample of the virus??
Now lets look at the percentage of the population that gets the annual flu shot. This page https://usafacts.org/articles/how-many-americans-get-flu-shots-vaccine-cdc/ uses CDC data, and it looks like about 48% of the population gets the annual flu shot. The article specifically says: “During the 2018-2019 flu season, 49.2% of people ages six months and older got a flu vaccine, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).” And goes on to say: “That’s the highest level since the 2009-2010 flu season, but well below the 70% target that the Department of Health and Human Services set in 2010 for the entire population.” Pay very close attention to the 70% vaccine distribution target referenced. This 70% annual number has been pushed by CDC and HHS since 2010. They haven’t even been close to that level anytime over the last 10 YEARS.
Ask yourself, why has Dr. Mengele (Fauci), CDC and HHS been dropping the “70% of population needs to be vaccinated” to reach herd immunity comments the past few months???? In my opinion, it’s all about hitting a 10 year old HHS target and also increasing profits for Big Pharma.
Okay, now for some more Monkey Math. If the US Population remained constant from 2004-2020, there would be 330M people who could possibly be vaccinated annually. CDC data shows best case 49% get vaccine or approx. 162M doses needed per year. Up until Covid, Big Pharma invested their own money to develop vaccines and made profits from selling them to the public. At $50 a dose (Googled this number), total revenues would be about $8.1B minus development costs. If Dr Mengele gets his way and 70% of population gets vaccinated then 231M doses are needed annually at $50/ea., which is $11.6B. Automatic $3.5B annual profit increase. Smell fishy yet? Add to that, with Covid, ZERO developmental costs (all those costs paid by taxpayer $$) and profit margin jumps again. No small wonder why so many Big Pharma companies are literally jumping through their own collective A@@es to make a vaccine. Free Development and Guaranteed Annual Profits at taxpayer expense!!
Add to this, the fact that Dr. Mengele, now says vaccine doesn’t PREVENT Covid it just minimizes the effects. Ask yourself, why does Dr Mengele contradict CDC statements made as recent as two days ago?? Ask yourself again, is Dr. Mengele NOW pushing for ANNUAL Covid Vaccines, thus further guaranteeing continual huge annual profits for Big Pharma funded at taxpayer expense????
Seriously, all I have written above could easily make for a really good conspiracy theory. True? Maybe? The key reason, I’m waiting for the Vaxx, if I ever take the Vaxx is this, how did Big Pharma, CDC and HHS, suddenly, overnight, at Warp Speed produced a vaccine with a 90% effective rate when over the past 16 years they struggled to hit a 40% annual effective rate?? I know Wuhan flu is not normal flu, but I would assume track records should be similar.
Now if you want a really good conspiracy theory, Covid 19 was a test case of a relatively harmless part of a two part binary bio-weapon intentionally released by CCP to determine virility of original strain and subsequent mutations. In other each mutation spreads very easy, doesn’t kill millions. The real bio-weapons are the individual vaccines that target a very specific spike protein not the virus itself. How hard would it be to grow, say, a Covid 21 with the spike protein that causes the vaccinated human immune system to go into overdrive and kill the host?? Would make one heck of a movie.

The ONLY good thing I can say for Covid-19 is that it cured the regular flu and significantly decreased heart attack deaths, cancer death and lots of old age. Covid-21 is basically here now. Covid-22 and on and on is on the way.

At no point have I ever thought that the vaccine would keep one from catching covid. I’ve always heard that you could still get covid, but your symptoms would be much less severe if you are vaccinated.
All these stories about “OMG, this person caught covid a month after being vaccinated.” Nowhere in any of those stories do you hear “and they got dealthly ill and had to be hospitalized.”
