Whether green screened or having things edited in, there is definitely something odd. Here is the area in question:

I expected to see on a close look something else such as pixelization from compression or signal interruption, but there isn't a way for what we see in the picture above to happen without editing of some kind.

Also, in the image above, that thin, white line along the border of his jacket just inboard of his right hand is, to me, a tell tale sign of doctoring.

It looks to me like simple video camera edge enhancement making his sleeve look sharp against the fuzzy shotgun mic blimp.

I haven't been in the business for a decade now, but I spent almost 30 years in video engineering through Cable Public Access and local broadcast television stations.

Professional cameras have a circuit called Edge Enhancement that makes transitions from light to dark appear more sharp. It was usually over-used on NTSC cameras to make the images look more crisp, but the effect was to put a black edge around things.

These days the effect is probably digital rather than analog as it was in my day, so that adds to the effect. Also, the video has been digitally compressed, further distorting the effect.
