Modern science unfortunately has been corrupted by grant seeking phonies who publish narrative compliant articles in jounals controlled by not very critical editors and publishers that adhere to the narrative. I agree a lot a these studies are junk. This this study measures the effect of “mask mandates” not actual mask usage. “Mask mandates” may be a poor measure of the rate of mask wearing. Some people may believe in Fauci and wear a mask without the necessity of a “mask mandate.” In other words due to poor design, this study has little value in answering the question about the effectiveness of mask wearing
