A poll released this past weekend indicates a majority – nearly 50 percent – of Trump voters would follow the former President to a new party and abandon the GOP.
The Suffolk University/USA TODAY survey indicates 46 percent of those who voted for Donald Trump in 2020 would join the third party if he were to go that route.
“If there’s a civil war in the Republican Party, the voters who backed Donald Trump in November’s election are ready to choose sides,” USA Today writes. “Behind Trump.”
By contrast, 27 percent of Trump voters said they would stick with the GOP while another 27 percent said they were, as of yet, undecided.

The GOP has shot itself in the foot too many times.
Already re-registered as unaffiliated so yeah!
What stopped you from posting the whole thing?
Yup.
The party of Mitt
ain’t worth a ...
ain’t worth nuthin’.
No, we will take over the Republican Party. Resistance is futile.
Nothing like committing electoral suicide.
Let the Never Trumpers form their own party. They are badly outnumbered in the GOP. The Republican Party belongs to Trump and MAGA.
If you haven’t noticed the Republic is dead and so is the GOP.
The GOP has had an agenda for thirty years that has been the opposite of MAGA, it is to turn the USA into North Mexico.
They fought President Trump at every turn as he tried to secure the border and restore the rule of law.
They assisted the Democrats in cheating him out of office to keep him from taking over the GOP and saving our country.
The entire purpose of the GOP since 1989 was blocking conservatives from stopping the importation of that permanent Democrat majority that would vote to subsume the USA to the UN and strip US of our sovereignty.
Assistant Democrats is all they are and will ever be.
EVERY Bush League Republican MUST be replaced if there is any hope of the GOP becoming a MAGA party.
If we keep re-electing Bush League Republicans they will keep running the party as Assistant Democrats.
Murkowsky, Thune, Hoeven, Blunt, Grassley, Lankford, Lee, Scott and Rubio are all Bush League Republicans and should have primary challengers.
If we are serious about taking over the GOP, every one of these must be replaced in 2022.
Yes, I would. The GOP has abandoned me and most of what I believe in. The GOP would rather go along to get along than fight for its beliefs.
IMO, this would guarantee the Democrats would control both houses of Congress and the White House for the next 20 years.
74+ million voted for Trump. How many voted for each of the gop. In SC how many voted for graham who floods the primaries with candidates so he can get a majority. And they think they’re more popular than trump.
Why should we leave our party? We need to kick out, vote out, even vote for the ‘rat to get rid of our Rino traitors at all costs.
Primary Cheney, if that doesn’t work, have a moderate rat run in the Dem primary as well, and support the ‘rat in the general against Cheney, she needs to be gone, like all the others.
We shouldn’t be focused on taking back the house/senate, we should be focused on taking back our party in 2022
voters showed up on Nov 3rd.
the GOP didn’t show up on Jan 6th.
instead, they tossed Trump supporters under the bus.
screw them.
If President Trump starts the Patriot Party, it’ll drain the vast majority of the voting base from the GOP. dead.
My only requirement would be for the Patriot Party to require a pledge from all candidates to support America First policies and step down if they don’t (after a party meeting where they can explain why they voted as they did, after which the party can vote whether or not the candidate should step down)
Already left the GOP
However unsure if would join a 3d party or just remain an Independent and let both sides try to figure out who I would vote for if at all
Are you going to remove Murkowsky, Thune, Hoeven, Blunt, Grassley, Lankford, Lee, Scott and Rubio in 2022?
They are all Bush League Republicans.
They already do thanks to the Assistant Democrats known as the GOP.
