My Filipino bud told me last year his kid in a LAUSD school was upset because EVERYONE got a passing grade, including the idiots below his kid in intelligence and the class troublemakers. The school officials stated it’s racist to fail a student. Yup, they used the word racist.

Back in the Philippines, the schooling is mostly private and the schools put rightful pressure on students or else they have to pay the same tuition AGAIN if/when they fail, with parents who are at the poverty line.
