I don’t think there are many people who would characterize Trump as a person lacking the necessary skills to assess people in terms of their integrity. On the hand I do believe that trustworthy people, such as I believe Trump to be, have a tendency to trust people, including unfortunately some who ought never to be trusted.
I actually DID NOT know how bad it was until Trump became POTUS, I DID NOT KNOW how bad our party really was or just what backstabbed they really were!! We all knew they were RINOS but I did not know they were actually democrats!!! I did not know how corrupt our CIA, DOJ, FBI, and State was until after what they did to the Trump administration!! Military generals were also a complete surprise how left they ALL WERE!!!

Yes, I think you do have a valid point there. He certainly opened our eyes to the widespread corruption, didn’t he? God bless him for it, too!
They are right. People who are untrustworthy are always suspicious of those around them, to the point of paranoia, as they see everyone else just like themselves...........
