“the deadly assault on the United States Capitol”

question: did anyone brandish a gun or fire a gun in the Capitol on 6 Jan, apart from the person who killed Ashli Babbit?

yet FakeNewsMSM, which has gone along with “insurrection”, also emphasized GUNS.
PBS brings up guns early on:

VIDEO/TRANSCRIPT: 6 Jan: PBS Frontline: Transcript: Trump’s American Carnage
(EXCERPTS)
MALE RIOTER:
He’s got a gun!...

MALE RIOTER 3:
Shots fired!

MALE RIOTER 4:
Shots fired! Shots fired!

MALE RIOTER 5:
Shots fired! Shots fired!

CROWD [chanting]:
USA! USA! USA!...

NARRATOR:
Just four years before, he stood at this very place, lighting the fires that would become an insurrection...

NARRATOR:
Then, with Congress meeting to ratify the election, Trump unleashed the insurrection...

this week in Australia, on taxpayer-funded ABC, 8 mentions of insurrection. guns early on, and stuff worth pondering from Tarrio, who ABC just happens to be available for an interview:

VIDEO: 46m11s: Feb: ABC TV Australia: Four Corners: Downfall: The last days of President Trump
That day, incited by the outgoing President, the most sacred symbol of American democracy was stormed by an angry mob unleashing violence and destruction.
In her return to Four Corners, reporter Sarah Ferguson confronts some of those who answered the President’s call to overturn the election result...

FULL TRANSCRIPT:
(EXCERPTS)
REPORTER (SARAH FERGUSON):
It’s mid-afternoon on Insurrection Day and the mob has found its way to the entrance of the Speaker’s Lobby...

Man: There’s a gun! Hey, he’s got a gun!...

Demonstrator: The president invited us! THE PRESIDENT INVITED US!...

REPORTER:
On January six the Proud Boys in Washington were without their leader. Tarrio had been arrested two days earlier over his role in a rally in December when he stripped a Black Lives Matter banner from a church and burned it in the street.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
I don’t care if its inflammatory. I believe it’s a Marxist movement. I’m not going to apologize for it. I did something that I felt was right. And if another banner sits on the floor, I’ll burn it again.

REPORTER:
The FBI is now trying to determine if he directed the actions of the Proud Boys from a remote location.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
I was about an hour and a half away. But I’m not too worried about it. I’m not. But can they. There’s a saying that a federal prosecutor can prosecute a ham sandwich. Right? If they wanted to. But I think they’re going to have a very, very hard time with me. I got full faith in it.

REPORTER:
Under orders from Tarrio, the Proud Boy contingents that day did not wear their characteristic uniforms.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
There’s a reason why we didn’t dress in our typical black and yellow. Because we were tired of like trying to walk down the street and people asking us to take pictures with them, and things like that.

REPORTER:
When you posted about not wearing your uniform, you said it was so that you wouldn’t be visible. You wouldn’t be identifiable.

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
No, I said that we’re going to go incognito. So, people won’t come take pictures of us.

REPORTER:
I’ll have to stop you. You cannot be making the case that you went in incognito because you were tired of being stopped and having your photos taken?

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
Yeah, I could make the case.

REPORTER:
Having broken through the barricades with his men, Joe Biggs is seen running up the Capitol steps, almost indistinguishable from other rioters.

REPORTER:
Let’s just talk about Joseph Biggs. What is his relationship to you?

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
One of my best friends.

REPORTER:
The FBI alleges that he was part of commanding the Proud Boys that day. Is that correct? Was he there in your place?

ENRIQUE TARRIO, CHAIRMAN, PROUD BOYS:
Up until, he was outside, we did have, there was a group of leadership. He was part of that leadership...
