357’s all also shoot 38 specials. Those move slower, but with 158 grain bullets they are quite effective and are less apt to blow a hole in an outside wall.

You could also buy a mouse gun, .380’s with special bullets are much better than they were once thought.

And remember a .22 pistol is certainly still deadly, especially the .22 magnum. Buy them with the heaviest lead, not the highest velocity.

There’s sumthin to be said for mouseguns. You get used to carrying them everywhere, so you are that much more prepared.

Most people give up on carrying their 6 inch Colt Python or Desert Eagle. Excellent stopping power but bulky, heavy, inconvenient.

And mouse guns are usually low caliber, light kickback, cheap rounds to fire and get proficient at.

The vast majority of gunfights occur within 7 yards and almost ALL of them end when the first person gets hit.

So mouseguns with a $5 laser sight could be the most effective way to have that gun WITH you rather than left at home.
