Should Trump create The Patriot Party or reform the GOP?
The Conservative Brief ^ | 1/20/21 | Martin Walsh

This is a serious question. There are pros and cons of reforming the GOP and creating The Patriot Party. Is starting a new party better or purging the GOP of corruption and self-interests.

"A third party will divide the voters further."

So what? They're going to commit voter fraud anyway.

Until a few months ago I thought we should keep the GOP and run the RINOs out, just to keep for ourselves the various infrastructures that have been built over the decades. Why should real conservatives have to start from scratch? But now I think the rot runs too deep. McConnell proved that. Ditch the GOP.

I have plenty of respect for you.
The main reason for NOT creating a new party is not to split the votes on the right in an evenly divided country.
The Dems will really love for us to do that. So far this is just the usual fake news media “anonymous sources" crap.
As far as I know,President Trump hasn't announced anything of the sort.

there is going to have to be election fraud reform

How's about in the next Election All the demonratcommieblmantifaterroscumchildmolestinggoatrapers get to walk into water up to the top their empty heads and hold their breath until we get a Satellite Pic of them All standing in the Ocean, Lakes, Rivers and Ponds so we can get a Head count.

We will stay on dry land and be counted in the same Satellite Pic.

But in this upcoming cycle being an incumbent could be a liability, as it should be.

By doing anything to stop it. They did not even fight for it, just deemed it a lost cause. Trump was the first one to come out our way in ages, and the party did not support him nor his thought of coming out here.

When was the last time the republican party made a push in CA? In the last few elections many lower level republicans (especially in the areas you mention) had their seats stolen days even weeks after the election was over, and not a peep from the party. Seeing a trend yet? Cause those of us here in CA certainly see it.

As a matter of fact, this election CA was awash with Trump flags, banners, ect. Very few Biden signs to be found. I live near Sacramento and I literally saw none. Well maybe none is too strong, but you get my drift.

My point is this. With CA’s EV’s you would think that the GOP would fight every election trying to move the goalposts in CA, for if they were to turn it they would have every election from there forward. But they do nothing, even when CA was awash in support for their candidate, they still did nothing.

Lastly when CA put up to vote the jungle primaries with the top two vote getters going on the main ballot, you would think the republicans would have put out a message in CA warning of such a system. We got crickets from them, and now with primaries being even easier to rig, the gop will never have another candidate even on the ballot.

Sometimes the truest intentions are shown with inaction. The GOP is not for us imho.

I may not be around in 4 years to vote, and I certainly won't be voting in any other election in the meantime, especially not for a Republican.

I live in New York State anyway, so my Republican vote hasn't counted for the past 35 years. I don't even have a Representative in Congress (NY-22nd Congressional District), because the Democrats have been trying to steal the seat again since November 3rd. They're in a courtroom fighting over 2500 discarded absentee ballots. My candidate was leading by 29,000 on election night, and then like Trump, her lead was taken away. She currently leads by 29 votes, but in the meantime, the seat is empty. I have no idea what the Republican Party is even doing for her, but the Democrat Party is mentioned in articles as having sent lawyers to help their incumbent candidate. The Judge presiding is a Democrat, and as of a few days ago, they are saying because of appeals, the seat could remain empty for months. So, I'm done with voting. Only a handful of people in the Republican Party actually care about voter fraud, but I can't vote for any of them, so I'll vote for no one.

And splitting votes between three parties won't matter because the Democrats will just continue to vote, because they know nothing will ever be done about it.

I’ve only voted “for” a candidate twice in my life: Reagan in 1980 and Trump in 2020. The rest of the time, I’m voting “for” the lesser of two evils.

But this last election saved me a lot of time. I’ll never vote in a national election again. When they can steal from a LANDSLIDE victory, and in broad daylight, there is no point in voting. It’s pointless. It doesn’t even send a message.

McConnell was just re-elected to another six year term. We need a solid conservative long before that.
Patriot party.

There are a lot of people who feel the same way you do. I’m one of them. There is no reforming the GOP. It’s like trying to reform a drunk, but you’re the one doing all the work, and the drunk is never reformed.

My point was it was never a national party.

That’s why taking over a on-going concern like the GOP is smarter. Trump understands “hostile takeover” in the business sense. It won’t be that much different.

I say start with the House Freedom Caucus and push for a complimentary caucus in the Senate to take back our party.

It could be very good to start clean.
Modern tech, modern practices, no left over trash from Nixon & the Bushes.

Claim Reagan and Trump as the patriarchs of the party.

New people, new practices, new ways of organizing. You will likely run into issues when it starts out but you won't trip over literal Rolodex cards along the way. (Yeah, GOP, I'm talking about you....)

Normally, I would agree with the “reformers” - you can’t win with third party.

But President Trump is in a unique position.

He has 80 million pissed off voters - and who are they are pissed off at? That’s right - they are pissed off at the Republican Party.

That is 80 million voters who would follow him over to a new party in a heartbeat.

All the good politicians would be happy to switch over too - since they aren’t chairing any committees right now anyway.

I say go for it - but it is all up to President Trump - f he even wants to do it.

I wouldn’t blame him for quitting politics in disgust.

“ The only thing the Republican Party deserves is our hate, and eternal loathing. They’re counting on all of us forgiving and forgetting, but I will never forgive, nor will I ever forget, for as long as I live.”

That’s how I feel right now, too. My reasoning tells me a third party is more difficult to bring up, unless we get some very influential help. I’m open to it.

"My reasoning tells me a third party is more difficult to bring up, unless we get some very influential help. I’m open to it."

I'm open to it too, but unless voter fraud is completely eliminated, there will never be another honest election, and I will not waste another vote with it intact.

I read that Rep. Kevin McCarthy was on Fox and Friends this morning saying how Donald Trump could still be a leader for the GOP. Of course, the same party that was so intent on getting rid of him, that they sanctioned unlimited voter fraud, now says he can be a leader in the party. The only thing they want from Donald Trump is the money he could raise for the GOP. They must be panicking because they are sending out emails/texts for donations, and people are turning their backs on them. The Republican Party is no better than the Democrat party. They want to keep their cushy jobs and benefits without having to do anything productive in-between election cycles. They are users and abusers, and like a parasite, they will suck you dry.

The ONLY way to win going forward is to change the game.

Then We Change the rules.

RULE #1 Nobody from either of the existing r or d parties may join the Patriot Party. Those POSSCUMBAG ANTIQUATED parties may NOT join the New Patriot Party, NO EXCEPTIONS !!!

RULE #2 The Patriot Party will be made up of People that are not Professional Politician’s. They will need to be Joe and Jane Public.

Rule #3 Nobody may be in Office more than 2 Terms. Based on the existing term’s set by the U.S. Constitution for the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Rule #4 NO PERKS, NO CASH PAY OFFS, NO GIFTS, NO LOBBYING, NO ANYTHING !!!

Rule #5 All Bills introduced to the House or Senate WILL NOT be loaded with PORK and/or PERKS. They will not have misleading, spiffy, BS Names or Titles, they will be short (no 6000+ pages of hear to's and forthwith and all the legal mumbo-jumbo crap)

I’m open to more ideas but let’s try to keep things simple and basic.

BTW you POS (see My Tagline) turds said that if you took office that WE THE PEOPLE WOULD BE GETTING the rest of Our $2000.00 chicom plague Money SO WHERE IS IT ?!?!?! HEY nazi pelouzy and upchucky scammer WHERE IS IT ?!?!?!?!
