Well, it’s said that politics is nothing more than showbiz for ugly people. And most politicians do seem to exhibit the same collection of personality disorders as celebrities.

Not really. Dems know the score. Sure, they don’t like hearing the truth, but with the media as allies, the Dems know that Gaetz is as much a threat to them as a pea shooter is to a Sherman tank.

I agree, but judging from the bellows among the Communists, Gaetz’ words were spears thrust into their tender hearts. His speech insecticide to roaches. BTW, I too am sick of hearing words like “schooled” and “instructed” when the object of the debate, such as Sandy Cortez, is ineducable.
With 100 like Gaetz we could rule the world.

...we don’t play dirty like the dems. They take NO prisoners and win through threats, intimidation and scare tactics. That they back up!
It’s going to come down to if the Democrats are so unpopular, and it sets in that “You don’t know what you had, until it’s gone.”
I use an example in 1945, when Churchill and the Tories were blown out in the election by Attlee and Labour, basically Labour presented a vision for Post-War Britain, while the Tories basically said “We’ve got Churchill!”.
Churchill also shot himself in the foot before the election, when he specifically used the word “Gestapo” to describe how Labour would implement Socialism. This at a time when many private companies were literally begging to be taken over by the government, because the British economy was in such dire straits after the war.
After the election, the Tory leadership pretty much wanted to send Churchill out to pasture, but he was still too popular for them to do that.
Bottom line, by 1951, Labour wore out their welcome and Churchill was back at 10 Downing Street.

Some Congressional elections can be stolen. But it’s impossible to steal every single one, let alone multiple primaries against candidates used to being nominated unopposed. Too many holes in the dyke in too many places. Not enough fingers. You can’t beat a rigged system, but you can overload it and exhaust the riggers, who then make mistakes and get caught.
Back in the day, there were all sorts of big city party machines, who routinely rigged elections. Pendergast, Tammany, Daly, Big Bill Thompson, Boss Tweed and Johnson were just the most famous. Then eventually, their day ended. Dems have fallen back on the big city party machines, resurrected in all their ugliness. Find out what brought about their demise back then, and you’ll know how to defeat them now.
