In this case, I happen to agree that Maher is right. He is saying that California state government cares more about attacking supposed “White privilege” than it cares about correcting the problems that make CA a dystopia.

Maher is definitely liberal and 95% of what comes out of his mouth is right out of the Dem party talking points. But every now and then (as in this case), he says something that is right on point. In the MSM, this makes him “controversial”. He is smarter than most in the Media since he makes some attempt to play both sides of the fence. In fact, I suspect that Maher knows the truth, but mostly tows the Leftist line because he realizes the would be out of a job if he did not. But I don’t watch him because I’m wise to the game he is playing.

I wonder if Maher has noticed that Biden i very white.

He might also notice that Biden has been in government for 40 years in which time minorities lot has improved little and that their lives improved more in the first 3 years of the Trump administration than the previous 8 years.
