My brother is like that. Thinks he’s a conservative, but he would get kicked off FR within 2 weeks, and wouldn’t know why.

You are ASSUMING that Californians are voting for the same crap.
They might have been voting out these politicians but like what happened in November 3,2020, their votes did not matter. Those counting the votes could have made sure that the same old crap got elected.
I live in the Bay Area—today, despite the “lockdown” and people supposedly fleeing CA in droves, traffic was as bad as ever.

Office leases are gonna plummet. One thing the pandemic has taught businesses is how many people can work remotely.
Agree, my SIL works for a large industrial outfit and they are planning to halve their office space when they go back.
