DDos won’t work, they have Cloudfare in front.
It’s very heavy usage slowing the stuff down. I don’t know the architecture so I can’t comment on how efficient their platform is. I suspect it is very well coded.
It’s not an app, it’s a very well done modern web interface that works one way on a desktop and another when you are using a mobile device. You really don’t need to build an app to do cool things. The gab guys are smart, they are not tied to the google store or Apple.
Unless the left figures out how to cut their net connection and/or if they are running bare metal in a colo and the colo kicks them it’s going to be hard to snuff gab. I suspect they are doing their own server farm and infrastructure in-house. I’m very familiar with that.
Lizardboi does not control coding and neither does the dirty beard guy. What Facetwit has done is give other coders a fantastic opportunity to invent and invent they will!
