I wouldn’t speculate online. And, it would be pure speculation. Just think of all the things that will be a bit topsy turvy for awhile. It’s some pain we gotta get thru to get to a better place.

If the U.S. goes down the martial law route then it won't be short and it won't be pretty. People are talking about mass arrests, shipping people to Gitmo, executions, and the like. How do yo back off from that? People seem to think that we can declare martial law for a month or two, hold a new election, then go back to normal. But 'normal' means the Supreme Court striking down your election as unconstitutional and your arrests as illegal while Congress immediately impeaches and removes the president. So I don't see how martial law doesn't run for a long time.
