At least they didn't ask for my SSNO... However, asking for a simple identifier now is how non-free speech begins...
I still have my originally issued SSN card...
Printed clearly on it is the statement that it can never be used for identification...

Anonymous free speech is not free speech at all. If we don't have the guts to put our name behind our words, we might as well just stay silent. I had no issue giving Parler my identification. They ask for it to help ensure we are who we say we are. I believe even Free Republic requires you to identify yourself before you can set up an account here. It helps to keep the bots out.
