Thanks Mark. I just did to. Never really used it at all but might as well pile on. No more facebook posts for my business, no instagram or twitter either. I am looking for cloud based hosting away from Amazon AWS as well.
Twitter, Facebook, google, etc, can no longer hide the fact - long apparent to us - that they’re not open impartial public platforms. They are and have been without a doubt extensions of the DNC. I’m sure the Biden DOJ will open an investigation onto campaign contribution violations.
I never had a twitter account so I can’t cancel it :(

For several years now Twitter would not reactivate my account after they suspended it for some reason known only to them. Today they suddenly reactivated it and I immediately suspended it.

I just deleted my facebook and twitter accounts and removed the addictive app from the phone. If someone wants something from me personally they are going to have to actualy give me a phone call at my home or email my work account. They are going to be polite, and if they are not, they will hear in detail how they have become a jerk listening to blue checks and reposting.
I am not a particular fan of Trump, he is a weapon on the GOP side. You pointed him at something and all hell broke lose. We will take 6 weeks and refigure what is next and have a stable of fighters ready to go in state, local and federal elections 2021,2022 and 2024. Facebook still sucks at getting anything done at the local and state level but we know that is where they will try to influence next.
90% of the colonies population was against the revolutionary war the day it started. 60% against entering the war on Dec 10 1941. We got 55% of the population against conservatives and American exceptionalism, that isn’t even a tough bar to overcome, we need to talk 10% of the population out of AOC, communism and Joe Biden. Easy enough.
For me, wake up call is on, sucking in the investments to tight package and the political battle bag is ready. That my employeer is siding with the media is just another indicator I need to move back to 1099 consulting.
Give them no ad revenue, dont login, dont lurk, dont make a second account to look at the grand kids photos. Cut them off. If you want to be pithy do it on someplace that isnt ad revenue centric.

I deactivated my Twitter account this morning. It is not difficult to do but I am pretty sure you cannot do it via a Twitter App. Log in at Twitter.com and you can do it. Do a search for “How do I deactivate my Twitter account” and you will find many sources for the actual steps it takes.
Deactiving it will remove the link to parler.
