Someone besides me would have to explain why an “arrest”. There are rumors floating around about Pence, but I’ve never heard anything specific and I’ve never seen anything in Pence to make me think they are true. And Trump seems to trust Pence.
My problem with Pence is that he was the one to accuse Flynn in public of lying, when its pretty clear to me Flynn did no such thing. The question was, did Flynn discuss foreign policy with the Russian ambassador (which he was within his rights to do). Pence said in public he didn’t, but when FBI accused Flynn of lying, Pence publicly chimed in and Flynn was forced out. We now know it never happened.
Of course, once FBI had taken down Flynn, they simply moved on to the whole Russia-gate campaign, so cutting Flynn loose didn’t buy them anything, it just encouraged the cabal to step it up to the next level.
Anyway, Flynn’s life was ruined and I see Pence as partly to blame for not standing by him in the clinch.
That was only after he was fired
Pence said that Flynn “lied” after he was already fired, Trump said same thing first.
Thanks for your explanation. The part I don't get would be this: If Pence gets part of the blame for abandoning Flynn at that time, why would Pence even do that without first getting the President's approval to do so?

This talks about Mike Pence and Paul Ryan. If they could get rid of Trump and Mike Pence would become president and the speaker of the house could then be vice president. They could get rid of Trump before the election they would’ve done the same thing. So I do not think Cance is trustworthy and I think Lin knows this
You could arrest Pence today, or on the morning of January 6th.
That “might” vacate the position, but unless he resigns there is not enough time to replace him.
And, there is not a role of “Acting Vice President.” In the Congress the position of President of the Senate goes to the President Pro Tempre is Chuck Grassley.
In succession, it would go to the Speaker of the House.
An “appointed” Vice President would need to be confirmed by both houses of Congress. You can sure that the House would not vote before January 6th or January 20th for that matter. They wouldn’t even hold hearings.
I guess you could convince a 91 year old guy to over turn an election. But I doubt it.
The clock is ticking. And it runs out next Wednesday.
There is “trusting” and “faith.” Then there is the rotation of the earth—which is not slowing down to give anyone more time.
