A leader of Germany’s Greens, set to be part of a new government, expressed support on Wednesday for mandatory vaccinations as the number of infections jumped again.
Katrin Goering-Eckardt, the parliamentary leader of the Greens, said continual lockdowns and restrictions on social contact were a bigger imposition than demanding vaccination.
Initially, mandatory vaccinations were needed in care facilities to protect particularly sensitive groups, she told Deutschlandfunk radio. Introducing compulsory vaccination would not mean that this would be enforced by police, she added.
The Free Democrats have so far opposed making vaccines compulsory.

The Commerce Department’s inflation measurement, or “Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index” (PCE), rose 5% in the 12 months through October, the most significant monthly jump since 1990. The most recent CPI shows prices rose 6.2% year-over-year, also a 31-year high.

Economists are now voicing a more discouraging message that higher prices will last well into next year, if not beyond.
“It’s a large blow against the transitory narrative,” said Jason Furman, the top economic adviser in the Obama administration. “Inflation is not slowing. It’s maintaining a red-hot pace ... They need to stop telling us that inflation is transitory, start becoming more worried about inflation, then act in a manner consistent with being worried.”

The Biden administration is planning to promptly reinstate the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” policy that requires asylum seekers at the U.S. southern border to wait in Mexico until their cases are heard.
“As we have previously stated, we are required by court order to reimplement MPP,” a DHS spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News, referring to Migrant Protection Protocols.
“In compliance with the court order, we are working to reimplement MPP as promptly as possible. We cannot do so until we have the independent agreement from the government of Mexico to accept those we seek to enroll in MPP. We will communicate to the court and to the public the timing of reimplementation when we are prepared to do so,” the spokesperson added.
Established by the Trump administration in January 2019, the “Remain in Mexico” policy, or MPP, returned migrants to Mexico to await asylum hearings instead of keeping them in the United States.

The US government added a dozen more Chinese firms to its export blacklist on Wednesday, the latest move from Washington to crack down on American business ties to China’s hi-tech defence sector.
“Global trade and commerce should support peace, prosperity and good-paying jobs, not national security risks,” US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo said in a statement.
The additions to the Commerce Department’s blacklist, known officially as the entity list, include quantum computing companies, semiconductor firms and Chinese businesses that have contributed “to Pakistan’s unsafeguarded nuclear activities”.

US intentionally kept China and Russia off the list of invitees for the Biden administration-sponsored “Summit for Democracy” set to be held next month in virtual format. The first ever US-sponsored event of its kind has a goal of restoring democracy and promoting human rights across the globe, based on Biden’s foreign policy agenda, and the US has invited at total of 110 countries to participate.
China on Wednesday is seething, issuing a scathing statement, after it’s been revealed the White House has invited Taiwan instead of China to the world gathering which runs from Dec.9 through Dec.10.
A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson told a press conference in Beijing that it’s “firmly opposed” to the “mistake” of the US inviting Taiwan, given Taiwan remains “inalienable part of Chinese territory,” according to the statement.

Canada is considering bolstering its military mission to Ukraine, amid a debate over whether additional NATO forces would deter Russian President Vladimir Putin from further aggression against his country’s neighbor. On November 24, The Globe and Mail reported that Canada is considering larger deployments to Ukraine, including deploying hundreds of additional troops to support the Canadian soldiers already in Ukraine on a training mission and redeploying some of the CF-18 fighter jets currently based in Romania.

Delta variant is old news. The World Health Organization is monitoring a new variant with numerous mutations to the spike protein, scheduling a special meeting Friday to discuss what it may mean for vaccines and treatments, officials said Thursday. British experts have sounded the alarm over a new Covid variant, identified as B.1.1.529, believed to have emerged in ‘Botswana’ that is the most mutated version of the virus yet, Daily Mail reported. Only 10 cases of the strain, which could eventually be named ‘Nu’, have been detected so far.
But it has already been spotted in three countries, suggesting the variant is more widespread. It carries 32 mutations, many of which suggest it is highly transmissible and vaccine-resistant, and has more alterations to its spike protein than any other variant, the report said. Scientists in South Africa are now working to determine what percentage of the new cases have been caused by the new variant.
Professor Francois Balloux, a geneticist at University College London, said it likely emerged in a lingering infection in an immunocompromised patient, possibly someone with undiagnosed AIDS, the report added.
UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid said there were concerns the new variant “may be more transmissible” than the dominant delta strain, and “the vaccines that we currently have may be less effective” against it. According to reports, the new B.1.1.529 variant has 32 mutations in the spike protein, the part of the virus that most vaccines use to prime the immune system against Covid. Mutations in the spike protein make it harder for immune cells to attack the pathogen, just as so many vaccine skeptics have been warning for the past year.

OBSERVATION - Discussion is that the nature of the mutations essentially renders current versions of the ‘vaccine’ useless. Not that the current vaccines have been very successful to begin with. Have to monitor to see if the reality is as bad as the current hype.

Portugal, which has one of the world’s highest rates of vaccination against COVID-19, announced it would reimpose restrictions to stop a surge in cases, ordering all passengers flying into the country to show a negative test certificate on arrival.

Nurses and officials at the Children’s hospital where all the kids injured in the horrific Waukesha car attack were taken have revealed that treatment is being hampered by a staff shortage brought on by the COVID vaccine mandate.
The sources say that the Children’s Wisconsin Milwaukee Hospital struggled to care for 18 children rushed there in the aftermath because there are no longer enough nurses or support staff available.
One nurse speaking anonymously told local media that “It was a nightmare,” adding “We just don’t have enough people and [supervisors] were frantically calling in everyone they could, but it wasn’t enough.”
“We are taking care of everyone the best we can, but it’s hard,” the nurse added.
A hospital official also noted that there are currently over 200 open positions at the site, and more than 450 across all of the institute’s campuses, primarily because people have been forced out of work by the vaccine mandate which came into effect on November 15.
The report notes that 70% of religious exemption requests were denied and some clinics have been forced to close.

OBSERVATION - Shortages of medical staff were warned about - but ignored by the powers that be. Multiple ways the globalists can use this, but the most immediate threat is that there will be a greater demand for forced vaccinations of all people and that loss of medical services will create greater social chaos that can be exploited.

Vice President of the Lower Austrian Medical Association Gerrit Loibl has suggested that the government should levy a monthly fine of up to €100 to anyone unvaccinated.
OBSERVATION - Punish the unvaxxed - force compliance.

Roughly 10,000 of its 186,000-strong active duty force are positioned to miss the deadline the Department of the Navy set for all Marines and sailors to become fully vaccinated, according to the latest data, representing the highest proportion of any of the military services potentially to violate direct orders from the chain of command.

German day-ahead power prices jumped to the second-highest level ever, 273.89 euros per megawatt-hour. Day-ahead power prices are also higher in France and Netherlands.

A leaked memo from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reveals plans by the Biden administration to make changes to Americans’ First Amendment rights and other religious liberty protections. The internal memo describes plans to “sign delegation of authority on the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) and religion clause of the First Amendment” to the Office for Civil Rights (OCR).
“The action will likely be well-received among civil rights advocates and litigators, as well as groups advocating for the separation of church and state,” the memo reads.
“Groups who share the prior Administration’s broad view of the application of RFRA or who will interpret this action as an indication that the Department is abdicating its responsibility for compliance with RFRA will likely issue strong negative reactions,” it continues. “This includes members of Congress who have been outspoken about OCR’s conscience and religious freedom activities and who have repeatedly asked questions about changes to OCR’s organizational structure and legal authorities.”
The memo recommends HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra sign the action as soon a possible.

OBSERVATION - This will make it less likely that religious freedoms will be protected and violations more likely to be ignored. Can be placed also under Globalism because of its goal of diminishing the influence of Christianity.

A US congressional delegation has gone through with a trip to Taiwan, brushing off a demand from China to cancel the visit amid rising geopolitical tensions over the self-governing island.
Five US House of Representatives members arrived in Taiwan on Thursday for meetings with government officials, after celebrating America’s Thanksgiving holiday with US troops in South Korea. The visit, which marked the second trip to Taiwan this month by members of Congress, was billed as an effort to discuss economic and security issues while reaffirming the “US commitment” to the Taiwanese.
Representative Elissa Slotkin (D-Michigan) said that when news of the latest trip broke on Wednesday, her office received a “blunt message” from the Chinese Embassy calling for her to cancel the meetings in Taipei.
“We strongly urge the congresswoman immediately cancel the planned visit to Taiwan and not to support and embolden separatist forces of Taiwan independence, lest it cause huge damage to the China-US relations and the peace and stability of Taiwan Straits,” the embassy told Slotkin.

Russia has denied any involvement after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that an attempted coup d’etat is being planned in his country to take place next week.
Zelenskyy told reporters that Ukraine had uncovered a plot for an attempted coup and that Ukrainians and Russians were involved, The Washington Post reported. While he also spoke of a threat of military escalation from Russia, he fell short of accusing the Kremlin of an involvement in the planned coup, according to Reuters.
“We have challenges not only from the Russian Federation and possible escalation – we have big internal challenges. I received information that a coup d’etat will take place in our country on Dec. 1-2,” Zelenskyy said, adding that his country was prepared for any escalation, Reuters reported.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, denied Russia’s involvement in any coup against Ukraine.

OBSERVATION - A December coup falls into the winter timeline being spoken about lately for a Russian invasion. It could be used as an excuse to ‘protect Russian citizens’ in the same manner Russia used to to justify the invasions of Crimea and the Dombas regions.

General Kenneth McKenzie told TIME magazine in comments published Wednesday that the Iranians are “very close this time” to a nuclear weapon. “Our president said they’re not going to have a nuclear weapon,” McKenzie said. “The diplomats are in the lead on this, but Central Command always has a variety of plans that we could execute, if directed.”
“I think they like the idea of being able to break out,” he said.
This was the first time a U.S. official has clearly implicated that a military intervention was on the cards.

Grímsvötn volcano in Iceland is under close observation due to the sudden lowering of its ice cap. In the past such lowering has created floods (jökulhlaups -glacier outburst floods) when melting raises the water level high enough to lift its ice dam) and that the loss of water mass (water and ice) has historically triggered eruptions in the past. According to Benedikt Gunnar Ófeigsson, deformation scientist at the IMO, there is every indication that the Grímsvötn volcano is ready to erupt.2
The last eruption of this volcano took place in 2011 — it was a large and powerful VEI 4 eruption. The average eruption frequency during the last 1 100 years is 1 eruption per 10 years.

OBSERVATION - These eruptions can essentially close down air traffic in UK as well as parts of Europe. Those disruptions will impact economy.. The 1783 eruption was devastating to Iceland, produced the world’s largest known historical lava flow and extensive crop damage and livestock losses creating a severe famine that resulted in the loss of one-fifth of the population of Iceland.
