I would suspect it was not monolithic.

I base this on a few factors:

To me, this suggests a "monolithic" effort was underway. I also think the state of Florida was a part of the plan, but the Trump turnout was too large to overcome (perhaps due to the Cuban vote). That would make at at least seven states involved.

So you're in the isolated rogue coincidences simultaneously in the seven needed states camp?

I saw your points, but you were vague with mapping to your list, so I tried to tease it out from you.

You said "I think I take Sidney’s pov, while you take Rudy’s pov...", so you put me into a corner first.

That said, you also said "they do not necessarily cancel each other out," so that leads me to think that you put both the "Sidney" and "Rudy" scenarios into the same camp, or at least not opposing camps.

But... I can't tell if you really mean that "Rudy" means your #3 "local criminal activity and "Sidney" means your #1 "Democrat orchestration," (or vice versa) in which I don't see much overlap. It would be nice if you could explain that thought more deeply.

Also, you added foreign interference and local community-level politics into the mix as additional considerations, which I think (based on you saying you're probably in the Sidney camp), was just to muddy the waters unless you think the "Sidney" camp is foreign interference, but then we start moving away from canceling each other out.

So, I'll start.

  1. Democrat Orchestration: This is where I am.
  2. Chinese /Iranian interference not connected to #1: I don't think so. It would show a lot of sophisticated knowledge of internal American politics for the Iranians to target the few cities in the few states. I don't think they have it (although the Chinese would if they slept with enough people to get it).
  3. local criminal activity. Yes, to achieve #1.
  4. local political activity. This always happens, and is the intent of elections in the first place. However, it doesn't usually lead to criminal activity to ensure that the local political activity tilts one way. In my opinion, #3 was to ensure a national political objective, not seven local political objectives.

Is this comprehensive enough for you? Why don't you now clarify where you stand without ambiguity?

Thank you. This is a much clearer and thorough dump of your thinking, and I greatly appreciate it.

Sorry about your cold...

My last post in response, then I think we can walk away as FRiends.

  1. On foreign interference: I know there were servers overseas, but it's not clear to me that these were foreign government actors or just American companies with servers in foreign offices to get around jurisdictional or regulatory restrictions. I guess we'll never know on this one.
  2. You said: Now one of the reasons this (the Dems) was vague to me was, which Dems? Today someone suggested the Biden Campaign and to me, that fits, or if you want to go back, whoever fixed the Hillary/Bernie contest advised the Campaign on how to fix this one.
    • There is one name that stands out to me, and was prominent in the news as well. That name is Marc Elias of Perkins Coie. Elias is a long-time Clinton crony.
    • Mark Elias was also the lawyer who brokered the Hillary Clinton campaign's deal in 2016 to pay off the DNC debt from the Obama 2012 campaign in exchange for taking control of the DNC fundraising machine. This was detailed by Donna Brazile in her report to Bernie Sanders on what happened in the DNC 2016 primary.
    • Elias/Perkins Coie was also the cutout between the Hillary Clinton campaign and the "Steele Dossier" that accused the Trump campaign of Russian collusion.
    • Marc Elias is the person who coordinated all the lawsuits prior to the 2020 election in the battleground states.
    • Marc Elias is the person who is still challenging the Republican House win in the Iowa CD-2 race.
    • Marc Elias is the "go to" expert for the MSM whenever they report on Republican election lawsuit challenges.
    • There is your mastermind -- it is Marc Elias.
  3. I think we agree more than we disagree. If I had to say where we disagree, it's that I don't think what happened was simply bottom-up organic local politics combining into a "perfect storm" at the national level. I think it was the opposite, a coordinated effort led by Marc Elias, to use the "boots on the ground," managed by the local political leaders, to manipulate the election results in all of the battleground states. I point to the sophistication of the Hillary Russia Hoax" disinformation campaign to deflect from her illegal server as evidence that Elias is capable of this kind of deep coordinated effort.

I think I've been clear all along. It must have been the flu. 😉
