Sunlight from ONE angle vs bright street lights from multiple sites, causes things to reflect differently. The top edge ‘stripe’ was probably either bare aluminum like the vent behind the side window, or a lip that caused a shadow in the high sun.

It’s sure convenient that a camera across the street from his house had memory of the RV being in his backyard. I looked on googull erth and saw it there, but parked differently.

I agree with your take.
They are comparing views in totally different lighting.
And with the “vent” in the red colored box, it’s a frontal view vs a rearward view.

Also those street lights are probably sodium vapor, which cause strange color rendition effects.
