Nah....In 1917 Israel was given its own homeland for the first time in a couple thousand years...Coincidentally it was the same chunk of land God initially gave them...

The British issued the Balfour Declaration in 1917, saying that the then-current British government "viewed with favor" the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. But the British actively prevented European Jews fleeing Hitler from settling in the British Mandate of Palestine, and interned any they caught in Cyprus. The State of Israel was not established until the British withdrew in 1948.
