Trump was more than happy to keep living his life as one of the uber-wealthy, with a gorgeous wife, great kids, many grandkids on the way, mansions, yachts, airplanes, hot and cold running servants, etc., etc. But the man understood that our very system was in critical danger of collapsing, of being taken over by people who crave power over others at all costs. He stepped in like Cincinnatius - to FIGHT for our Republic and way of life. The other side knows that he represents a mortal threat to everything that they have ever worked for, so they set out to destroy him by any means. the last 4 years is a product of their fears, and of their greed for power.
Trump’s central message to the world - for his entire life - has been that you have to be willing to fight for that which you value. He never initiates problems, but he definitely finishes them.
