Perhaps this activity was expected and therefore part of a “sting” operation.
As I’ve posted on a couple of these threads, they’re probably letting the guilty parties make statements and actions contrary to the hard evidence they already have before they drop that evidence on them and say, “Oh ... Really? Would you maybe want to try that again?”
