A couple of years ago there were studies showing that when women asking a man for directions touched his arm, he was much more likely to help her. Oddly this was not considered groping nor harassment, but rather a valuable way for a woman to get a man to respond to her.

Oh yes. I’m a woman and I know that if you touch a man’s arm, briefly, the man takes notice.
