I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Republican politicians are cowards. When the going gets tough, they back down and don’t fight back. They don’t know how to fight the culture war and wouldn’t want to even if they did. That’s come up again now; in the republic’s darkest hour in decades, when the brazenness of the cheating and voter fraud is shocking and abhorrent, most Republicans have deserted Trump. We GOP voters are once again asking, “where are the Republican politicians?”
Now, to be fair, there are a few that have done a good job and are defending and trying to help Trump. Madison Cawthorne, a congressman-elect from North Carolina, was at the MAGA March in D.C., as was Rep. Gomert, a Republican from Texas. But no others were there. Every voter out there on the streets, supporting Trump and peacefully protesting voter fraud, was wondering the same questions- “Where are the Republican politicians? Why aren’t they here?”
That shouldn’t have been a surprise, even if it is incredibly disappointing. Unlike the Democrats, Republicans don’t know how to fight back or stand up for a cause even when it’s inconvenient.
Hence why W. Bush called himself a “compassionate conservative” and did little to combat illegal immigration, McCain refused to pull out all the stops to fight Obama, and Romney backed down quietly when challenged. It’s why Lindsey Graham is a “fighter” when convenient, such as during the Kavanaugh trial, but silent during times like now when doing so is inconvenient.

That’s a good way of saying it. Briefly forgot that was the case
Yeah, I agree. The Lincoln Project types are the worst of the worst
Of course they have... the only fighter among them was Trump and they refuse to do anything about the massive and flagrant fraud that was this “election” they are done.
Will lose millions from their dependable base... because If it’s all a fraud and scam anyway. Why bother...
The GOP’s silence on this is suicide
Wait! What?
Are you saying the MSM is dishonest and biased?
I am shocked! Shocked I tell you!
I have faith that DJT will serve his second term. His long shot election in face of opposition from Rats, Repugs, MSM, deep state, and globalists was an impossibility. It took the prayer of the majority of Americans and divine intervention for him to win round 1.
So long as we don’t lose faith, DJT will serve the Lord in round 2.
Which gets me to this point: When (not “IF”) DJT is sworn in for his second term, I want him to form an office, funded by donations from patriots (not taxes) dedicated to honest news reporting. I want him to slaughter each and every sacred cow.
The only person who can shine sunlight on this is DJT.
“I have faith that DJT will serve his second term. “
I do not. I pray, but I also know that sometimes the answer is “no”.
We’ve allowed our young to be indoctrinated and turned away from God. Perhaps a lesson is in order?
Of course, the ignorant leftists did not consider massively alienating whites from sports with the kneeling and BLM. Major loss of distractions, that. Doh!
How do you explain DJT being elected in 2016?
I recall every pundit laughing at him. I remember every Repug Senator ridiculing him. Graham, Paul, Cruz, McConnell. It was a chorus of dunces, making fun of the only honest man running for office.
Everyone wrote him off as an inexperienced celebrity pulling a publicity stunt.
If it wasn’t the prayers of the majority of Americans, being answered by divine intervention, how else can you explain his first victory?
And if you agree that the Lord intervened once, why wouldn’t the Lord intervene again?
I hear they are “leading from behind”.
Really, they don’t care about us or the US, all they care about is themselves. I really hope Trump creates the MAGA Party and burns the GOP to the ground.
“How do you explain DJT being elected in 2016?
I recall every pundit laughing at him. ...”
From my perspective, yes, I think God intervened in 2016. But, the deep state and the Dems weren’t ready. They believed the polls and thought Hillary would crush Trump. This year, the deep state and the Dems were ready and weren’t going to let that happen again. They were going to cheat as much as they had to in order to produce a win for Joe and the Ho.
And I cannot speak for God’s intentions, but as I said, sometimes the answer is no.
Exactly!!!!
Isn’t it AMAZING?!?!?
In between, there is a distinct lack of anything conclusively making the connection. We are assured six times a day that the kraken is about to appear, or that the statistical chicanery with election software is about to be definitively established, or whatever.
At the same time, the messaging is all over the place. Trump's twitter feed remains an unguided cannon. Sidney Powell is off in direction. Lin Woods is off in another. Patrick Byrne sounds impressive, but doesn't close the deal. Rudi shows up regularly doing something, but it's not entirely clear what.
The point is, right now we have lots of smoke and not much fire.
The question asked here is where are the Republican officeholders in all this? Most of them, I imagine, are looking at this big bowl of jello and not seeing anywhere solid to make a stand. On which internet rumor would you bet the mortgage? The probability of being made to look a total fool is high enough to give any serious politician pause -- especially after four years of Trump's erratic zig-zagging on one issue after another. A lot of those bodies you see out there littering yon fruited plain are Trump supporters and, in many cases, appointees with arrows in their backs, because they were not as adept as Trump at changing course and were mowed down by friendly fire. The level of fratricide in the administration has been astonishing.
I don't want to debate all the above; this is simply where we are. Now contrast this with 2000, when Florida got a bit sticky. That lasted longer than the current mess. But there was never a hint of confusion or people working at cross purposes. Jim Baker was in charge. People like Boyden Gray and Ted Olsen guarded the flanks and GWB had their backs. The Bush campaign, the RNC, and state and local Republicans at all levels read from the same script. Republican officeholders stood to their guns and fought the good fight.
They would do the same thing today if there was clear leadership and guidance. What they don't want to do is to go charging off after internet rumors waiting for the kraken to show up. In terms of presence and delivery, the two people who project an aura of actually having something of substance to say are, at this point, Patrick Byrne and Sidney Powell. They are both freelancers with no formal standing with the campaign, and both of them are still presenting hypotheses about statistical anomalies without presenting anything that would hold up in court.
Hark! BOOM!! The kraken lurks!!! GatewayPundit has another headline!!!! If I were a Republican politico putting my career on the line, I'd want more, and they're not getting it from the campaign.
In other words, a bunch of crouching hand lickers (Founding-era reference).
“... I’m not sure if I hate Republicans or Democrats more
I despise hypocrites, so RINOs are worse to me.“
It’s one thing to fight against an enemy who ADMITS they are your enemy and states what they stand for..
It’s quite another to have an advocate who claims to stand up for you and your values.... but are actually the same as your enemy.
All these RINOs do is smile, pat us on the back, give us reassuring words - to DISTRACT us while the enemy comes around back to plunge the knife in and steal our wallets.
I too hate the “distractors” worse than the wolves.
Research shows that our legislators constantly do better at picking stocks than even the most experienced Wall Street traders.
Go figure!
The good news is beginning to trickle in, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Have faith.
Here is another one.
Have faith.
It is not over, and no army of mortals can overturn the will of the Lord.

I quit calling myself a Republican when Ted Cruz was running for the Senate back in 2012. Primarily because of the GOPe Pukes like John “Wayne” Cornyn, Dan Patrick and others in the state of Texas went after him, in support of a world class RINO (David Dewhurst). Cornyn was especially determined to stab Ted in the back when he first got elected. That was a deal breaker for me.
