Mike Pence didn't resign as Indiana governor until January 9, 2017. Biden didn't resign from the Senate until January 15, 2009. Al Gore resigned on January 2, 1993. Dan Quayle resigned on January 3, 1989. The fact that Harris hasn't resigned means absolutely nothing. By not resigning she gets to vote against anything Trump tries to get through and it's a paycheck as well.
Apples and oranges.
Harris not resigning her Senate seat is VERY significant.
Unlike the aforementioned, her election is being contested. She might be charged w/ participating in a very public huge election steal.
If she resigns, she's afraid she'll be tossed out of the VP seat, and be left holding the bag.
Still waiting for her and others to pay the US Treasury back for the time spent campaigning and not working for that paycheck..I’ve been waiting since Kerry and Edwards ran in the other dark age.....so long ago, I’ve forgotten when but the fact they and others were paid their usual salaries I will long remember. They don’t even blink at robbing the taxpayers!!! Not one moment of hesitation whatsoever!

DoodleDawg,
Thank you for that bit of history for recent VP resignations from their previous political office.
