I can't imagine what these Republicans see as an advantage to turning tail and running away. Besides doing serious damage to the country, they're going to lose all their power -- their legislative advantage in Michigan. Don't they realize that a lot of people in Michigan voted for Trump -- certainly more than voted for Biden -- and that these voters won't remember that?

If they do this I predict the Michigan Republican Party will ultimately be neutered -- if not outright "outlawed" in the state as the GOP effectively is in California.

They will not have their property destroyed.

They will be allowed to live for a while.

Same in the other states w/R legislatures.
