Not sure what kind of "trash" you are taking about but you can buy any kind of content you want, even religious programming.

I just got done watching a series on farm life in Scotland. About raising cows and sheep. It was pretty "trashy". I'm currently watching mysteries by the famed British writer, Agatha Christie. Set in 1935 England, it is very "trashy". For this, I pay just over $4.00 per month.

And if you are so concerned about your budget, why are you on a thread talking about how to save on your TV bill?
