Im old. My wife is older. I could cut the cable. If I did my wife would NEVER figure television out..... lol. Not kidding....

We are not that old...mid-50's...and cut the cable. My wife is in a perpetual state of confusion.

"Why can't I watch Netflix?"

"You have to change the input on the TV from 'Antenna' to 'AppleTV'."

"Why?"

"Because the signal from the AppleTV box comes into the TV from a different source."

"Why can't it just be like before where I pick up the remote and just enter the channel?"

Yep.... i have apple tv and tried to explain that before. Even drew out a diagram and wrote the steps down. Doesn’t matter. :)
